Elizabeth Olsen & Jeremy Renner Gear Up For ‘Avengers: Infinity War’

Production on Avengers: Infinity War is currently underway in Edinburgh, Scotland. The next Avengers film began shooting in Atlanta, GA but has since moved overseas to Scotland and the stars are making their way to Old Town.

Elizabeth Olsen, who plays Scarlett Witch, was spotted outside of the plush Balmoral hotel on Tuesday. Her stunt double was seen filming a scene with Paul Bettany’s Vision where the production has set up a 40ft green screen and cafe facade.

Earlier reports and recent Avengers set videos featuring Vision suggest an action heavy shoot in Edinburgh. Residents have been warned of shoots featuring explosions taking place from April 2 – April 6. The Russo Brothers will also use drones to shoot aerial footage of the city as well.

In addition to Olsen and Bettany, it seems Jeremy Renner is also his way to Edinburgh as the actor tweeted a selfie of him on board a plane along with the caption:

A recent casting call for extras suggests that production on the next Avengers film will continue this May in New York City, following the shoot in Edinburgh. Avengers: Infinity War will be the culmination of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe up until this point. The Marvel film is slated to hit theaters on May 4, 2018.
