Paramount Announces One-Day Early Preview Event For ‘Bumblebee’

According to Deadline, Paramount Pictures has announced it will hold a one-day preview of the film Bumblebee prior to its release on December 21st.

Warner Bros., along with Amazon Prime, will be holding paid sneak previews for the James Wan-directed film Aquaman on December 15th in 1,000 locations. So Paramount decided that the fan favorite Transformer deserved similar treatment to the Atlantean King. The studio will be holding one-day previews for the anticipated Transformers spin-off film Bumblebee on Saturday, December 8, ahead of its December 21 opening.

Tickets for this exclusive look at the next chapter on the Transformers series will be on sale at participating locations. The cool thing is that each admission includes a ticket to the movie, bonus content and a Transformers: Tiny Turbo Changers Movie Toy from Hasbro, while supplies last, of course. Showtimes will start at 7:00 PM. Fans can get their tickets for the Hailee Steinfeld starrer when they go on sale Wednesday, November 21 at Bumblebeemovie.com.

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.

Directed by Travis Knight from a script written by Christina Hodson, the film stars Hailee Steinfeld, Pamela Adlon, John Cena, Stephen Schneider, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Jason Ian Drucker, Kenneth Choi, Ricardo Hoyos, Abby Quinn, Rachel Crow, and Grace Dzienny.

Bumblebee will be released in theaters on December 21, 2018.
