Patrick Wilson has starred in numerous comic book adaptations, but one of the stand out films he’s been in was Zack Snyder’s Watchmen. Watchmen has had the best critical reception of any Zack Snyder superhero film and Wilson even has high praise for it. When discussing the difference between working with Snyder and James Wan on a superhero movie, Wilson had one really high remark about Watchmen.
They [Wan & Snyder] have a lot of similarity in that, visually, they want to create such a different tone. The opening credits alone of Watchmen will go down in history as one of the best opening credits in film.
