'Wonder Woman' director Patty Jenkins promptly responds to an online campaign to help a fan with cancer see the film early.
Jenkins responded to the #MelsWish campaign on Twitter, addressing Karyn Bradley and the many fans online that she and the team are working hard to have Melissa see the film soon:
Jenkins is not the only person from the Wonder Woman cast and crew to address #MelsWish. Lucy Davis, who portrays Etta Candy in the movie also took to Twitter to send her love and spread awareness for the campaign. She also express hope that Melissa gets to see the film:
Heroic Hollywood would like to send Melissa Bradley our love and support. Dealing with cancer is always a tough battle, and will always leave an emotional weight on those suffering through it as well as their family and friends around them. Thankfully, seeing fans all across the internet spread awareness for this generous cause is undoubtedly heartwarming. In a time where cynicism runs rampant through social media, it’s great to see people come together to help someone get their wish.

Fighting alongside man in a war to end all wars, Diana will discover her full powers…and her true destiny.
