‘Wonder Woman 1984’ Director Patty Jenkins Teases Ryan Murphy Over ‘AHS’ Title

Wonder Woman 1984′s Patty Jenkins and American Horror Story: 1984‘s Ryan Murphy recently joked about the two projects’ identical subtitle.

The year 1984 was not particularly monumental and yet, the impact it has had since George Orwell’s iconic dystopian novel has led countless directors, writers, and influencers to use it in their content. The same can be said for both Wonder Woman 1984‘s director and writer, Patty Jenkins, as well as American Horror Story‘s creator Ryan Murphy, which both used the year in their latest releases’ titles.

Although the two projects have practically nothing in common, Patty Jenkins found American Horror Story‘s title release announcement by Ryan Murphy humorous considering her own title for the latest Wonder Woman film. As such, she decided to poke fun at American Horror Story‘s director Ryan Murphy via Twitter. Soon after Patty Jenkins’ message, Ryan Murphy responded with his hilarious twist on the Wonder Woman 1984 director’s tease. Check out the hilarious exchange in the post below!
