Kevin Feige Teases Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man Future After ‘Avengers: Endgame’

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige offered an update on Paul Rudd’s future as Ant-Man after Avengers: Endgame.

After sitting out of Avengers: Infinity War, Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man finally joined Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in Endgame and played a key role in undoing Thanos’ decimation. However, Marvel Studios’ slate of post-Avengers: Endgame projects did not include a third entry for Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man film series.

Fortunately, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige offered fans a glimmer of hope for Paul Rudd’s return as Ant-Man during an interview with New York Times. While Feige would not confirm Paul Rudd’s return as Ant-Man, he did tease that fans “never know” what could be in store for the characters who were still in play after Avengers: Endgame:

“The chess pieces were arranged very purposefully after ‘Endgame.’ Those that are off the board are off, and those that are still on, you never know.”
