Paul Rudd had made an appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers for Ant-Man and the Wasp back in 2018 and it seems that more information had been shared among the star and the late night show host. During the interview, Paul Rudd explained how he had been more involved as a writer for his most recent Ant-Man film. Due to his deeper involvement as a writer for the film, it seems that Paul Rudd might have known about a couple of things that would soon be happening within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Talk then turned to the connections between Ant-Man and the Wasp and the Avengers movies, but Rudd tried to remain tight-lipped and not drop any spoilers. When he thought he messed up and revealed more than he was allowed to, Seth Myers said the following:
“I don’t know how that could mess up, though, because I feel like that would make more people see the movie, which is the endgame.”

Perhaps Ant-Man let one slip and shared more information with the host behind cameras. There’s also a chance that the late night show learned the title through a different source as he knows quite a few Marvel stars. Whether it was Paul Rudd or someone else we might never know, but Seth Meyers gave fans early signs of what the title for the next film was way before it was revealed.
