Star Wars has never had a live-action series and in the near future, it will have two. Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian, starring Pedro Pascal in the titular role, is coming to Disney Plus the first day the streaming service becomes available. Diego Luna is also set to headline a Cassian Andor series for Disney Plus, reprising the role he originated in 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.
Pedro Pascal took to Twitter this evening to show off The Mandalorian‘s awesome new logo ahead of its panel at Star Wars Celebration Chicago this weekend. Check out the logo for the exciting new Star Wars series in the post below.
The Disney Plus series The Mandalorian may be the first ever live-action Star Wars series but the franchise has spawned beloved animated series in the past, such as The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels. Actor Pedro Pascal will also be playing a key role in another franchise on the horizon. Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters in June 2020 with Pedro Pascal playing an unknown role alongside Gal Gadot’s titular DC hero.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding Pedro Pascal’s Disney Plus series The Mandalorian as soon as more information becomes available. Will you be purchasing Disney Plus on day one to check out The Mandalorian? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
