What do I mean by this? Well, in the original trailer for the upcoming Spider-Man film, we see Peter decides not to take his suit with him during his Eurotrip. Naturally, we know that he’ll eventually have it anyway, but we’re not exactly told how. Later on in the trailer, we see him wearing it when he runs into Nick Fury. So what gives?
It’s a pretty simple explanation, really, based on the film’s international trailer: Aunt May packed it for him. As the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming revealed, May knows fully well that Peter is Spider-Man. Though between Avengers: Infinity War and Far From Home, it’ll be interesting to see how Aunt May has coped with this. In particular how she and everyone deal with Peter’s loss in Infinity War. But in case you need a refresher, here’s the international trailer for Far From Home.
Now, just because Peter opts to not bring the suit, he also could’ve just as easily changed his mind. The trailer isn’t going to reveal everything, you know. So not exactly a huge mystery solved in the grand scheme of things, but what do you think of Aunt May being the one to send Peter his Spider-Man suit? How do you think she’s handled the reveal of her nephew being the friendly neighborhood Spider-Boy? Let us know your thoughts on this in the comments below.
Spider-Man: Far From Home is directed by Jon Watts and stars Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jake Gyllenhaal, Micheal Keaton, Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Marisa Tomei, Tony Revolori, Acar, J. B. Smoove, Oli Hill, Remy Hii and Hemky Madera. Here’s the synopsis:
