Could This Be The Title Of Marvel & Sony’s ‘Spider-Man’ Reboot?

There’s a chance that the title for the upcoming Marvel Studios & Sony Spider-Man reboot may have slipped out. The studio recently registered the URL SpiderManHomecomingTheMovie.com, which re-directs you to Sony Pictures website. This very could hint at the 2017 release using the title of the 80s comic book story arc of the same name. What’s worth noting is that this story arc featured appearances from both Captain America and Tony Stark as well as saw the black symbiote return with the character from his time in space. Wouldn’t rule out the studios looking to include cameos from those two and could we see the symbiote come into play this early?

However, there’s also a very good chance though that this could be for the animated film that the studio also has in the works. We’re going to have to wait and see. With production getting ready to kick off on the project, wouldn’t doubt that we should get some word on the official title soon. If this does turn out to be the film’s title though, I think fans would find the “Homecoming” a bit fitting, wouldn’t you? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below. The Jon Watts directed Spider-Man reboot swings into theaters on July 7, 2017.
