In an age where marketing seeks to market content for marketing, a teaser for a poster has been released. The official Power Rangers Twitter released the teaser poster for the film this morning to announce the real poster’s release tomorrow. This teaser does however include the tagline for the film “Together we are more.”
The tagline highlights the need for teamwork within the Power Rangers group and possibly teases the ultimate form of the team in the movie.
Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threats. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.
The film is in principal photography with Dean Israelite directing and is scheduled for a March 24th, 2017 release. The film stars Dacre Montgomery as the Red Ranger, RJ Cyler as the Blue Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger, Becky G as the Yellow Ranger, Ludi Lin as the Black Ranger, and Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa.
