‘Power Rangers’ Toy Offers Preview Of Dacre Montgomery Saying Original Series Line

With the release of the Power Rangers feature film reboot just a few months away, fans have yet to be given even a tease of the characters dialogue while in their classic colored suits. However, Twitter user @LinearRanger has shared a video featuring the Red Ranger toy mask that offers fans their first preview of actor Dacre Montgomery’s dialogue, including the classic line from the original Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers series, “It’s Morphin Time”.

Additional lines featured in the video include “T-Rex Zord, it’s time for battle!”, “We must save Angel Grove”, “We must stop Rita”, and “Let’s shred those putties!”. Electronic fight sounds are also included. You can watch the video clip below!

Here’s the official synopsis for the Power Rangers movie:

Saban’s Power Rangers follows five ordinary teens who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discoverer they are the only ones who save the planet. But to do so, they will have to overcome their real-life issues and before it’s too late, band together as the Power Rangers.

Directed by Dean Israelite, the film stars Dacre Montgomery, Naomi Scott, RJ Cyler, Becky G, Ludi Lin, Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Banks and Bill Hader.

Power Rangers will be released in theaters on March 24, 2017.
