Flashbacks
Flashbacks in TV shows can always have varying qualities. However, they pulled it off pretty well here, not exactly providing us with a ton of new information but giving us some more insight into these characters and providing some needed commentary on how they became who they are now. Anchored with fine performances, especially from the little girl who played young Tulip, and given a nice amount of period details, these scenes are among this week’s biggest highlights.
