Odin’s Origins
Lead by Jackie Earle Haley’s commanding performance, this opening is among the most darkly hilarious and equally tragic moments created for the show yet. It’s effective and sinister in a way only Preacher can be, and that’s exactly how it should be. We need to fear Odin. We need to hate him too. But most of all, we need to understand him. After this week’s episode, we now kinda do.
