Landham was born on February 11, 1941 in Canton, Georgia. Landham was a descendant of the Cherokee and Seminole tribes and attended Darlington School before he attended the University of Georgia for a year to play football.
Landham is most recognized for his role in Predator alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger. Some of Landham’s filmography include The Warriors, Southern Comfort, 48 Hrs., Poltergeist and Firewalker. He has also appeared on television series such as The A-Team and Miami Vice.
Landham also had political ambitions, having ran for the post of Governor of Kentucky in 2008 in the Republican Party. The actor had hoped to replicate the same success his Predator co-stars Schwarzenegger and Jesse Ventura had in California and Minnesota respectively. Langham ended up losing the primary before having a brief run as an independent candidate before withdrawing from the race altogether.
Landham was married five times and had four children. He is survived by his son William and daughter Priscilla. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Landham’s friends and family during this difficult time of mourning.
