The 'Fantastic Four' writer wasn't impressed by the Presidential Debate.
While the internet had some strong opinions about the recent Presidential Debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, the writer behind the 2015 Fantastic Four reboot had some particularly harsh words about the event. The film starring Michael B. Jordan, Kate Mara, Miles Teller and Jamie Bell was both a critical and commercial flop – scraping back $167.9 million from its $155 million budget. Director Josh Trank deleted his social media accounts back in June after fans criticized his work on the Marvel film as well as Capone.
But the writer behind the Fantastic Four reboot recently offered a frankly hilarious opinion of the Presidential Debate, which many users on social media were commenting on throughout the night. Jeremy Slater succinctly summed up his feelings on the debate by saying it’s the worst thing he’d ever seen – and pointed out that he wrote the disastrous take on Marvel’s First Family. Take a look at Slater’s brilliant comment below.
What did you make of the Presidential Debate? Was it worse than Josh Trank’s Fantastic Four? How do you want the team to enter the MCU? Sound-off in the comments below!
