‘Pretty Little Liars’ Star Drew Van Acker Teases Mysterious ‘Titans’ Role

Pretty Little Liars star Drew Van Acker posted a rather cryptic picture on Instagram, possibly teasing a role in DC’s Titans. Could he be Aqualad?

After its great first season, Titans is winding up for what it seems to be an even greater and more ambitious second season. Deathstroke (Esai Morales), Jericho (Chella Man), and Rose Wilson (Chelsea T. Zhang) will be featured in season two of Titans. Also, Superboy a.k.a Connor Kent (Joshua Orpin) will make his TV debut on the DC Universe series as well.

Now it seems we have another huge Titans character incoming. Over the weekend, Pretty Little Liars star Drew Van Acker posted the following image on his Instagram account. Several rumors around the internet are pointing towards him playing the infamous Atlantean Kaldur’ahm, who’s widely known by his surname Aqualad. Check it out:

Even though there’s no confirmation yet, the possibility of Aqualad joining the Titans series is quite exciting for many fans. Aqualad has been a very interesting and successful character on the Young Justice animated series. Also, many DC fans are pushing hard for James Wan to include the character in the future Aquaman sequel.

What do you think about Aqualad possibly appearing in Titans? Is Drew Van Acker a good choice for the character of Aqualad? Sound off in the comment section down below!

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise. Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth. Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy. Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

Titans stars Brenton Thwaites as Dick Grayson/Robin, Anna Diop as Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Lindsey Gort as Detective Amy Rohrbach, Alan Ritchson as Hawk, Minka Kelly as Dove, Ryan Potter as Beast Boy, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, Jake Michaels as Cliff Steel, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Bruno Bichir as Dr. Niles Caulder, and Conor Leslie as Wonder Girl, with Curran Walters as Jason Todd.

Titans is now available exclusively on DC Universe in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.

Titans has been renewed for a second season on DC Universe, although no release date has been confirmed yet. Also, Doom Patrol’s first season is currently streaming on DC Universe. The Swamp Thing and Stargirl are series are currently in development and are expected to come out later this year on DC’s streaming platform.
