The Punisher has gained a rather unlikely ally in the form of Oscar-winning hip hop artist Marshall Mathers, a.k.a. Eminem. Following the show’s cancellation by Netflix, Eminem took to Twitter to express his disappointment over the streaming giant’s much-criticized decision. Now, Eminem’s comments have prompted a responsed from none other than Frank Castle himself, Jon Bernthal.
Netflix recently axed its last two Marvel series, The Punisher and Jessica Jones. With Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders also cancelled, Marvel’s five-year relationship with Netflix seems to have come to an end.
