Fans of the Marvel Netflix series have had a rough year. Three of the five shows in the Marvel Netflix collection have been canceled, with Jessica Jones and newcomer The Punisher being the only two series with new seasons planned for release. Ever since the breakout first season of the Daredevil spin-off series released in 2017, fans have been wondering when the violent vigilante would be making his return to Netflix and now those fans kind of have an answer.
Netflix recently released a new video on Youtube revealing all of the exciting content coming to the streaming service next month. If you wait until the end of the video, you’ll get a small tease for season two of The Punisher. Unfortunately, the video does not give an exact release date outside of the month. Although The Punisher and Jessica Jones will be releasing new seasons in the future, it hasn’t been officially revealed just how they’ll carry on the Marvel Netflix story. It’s possible that the seasons could be wrapping up the story of the Marvel Netflix universe but nothing official has been said by either Marvel or Netflix just yet.
