Per Variety, the actor is currently scheduled to shoot the fourth and final season of Mr. Robot from March through July of 2019. At the same time, principal photography on the next Bond movie is slated to kick off March 4th.
Daniel Craig will return for one last outing as the iconic spy. Also returning are series veterans Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, and Naomie Harris. Léa Seydoux will also be reprising her role as Dr. Madeleine Swann from Spectre.
Originally, Danny Boyle (28 Days Later, Slumdog Millionaire) was brought on to direct the film but ultimately left due to creative differences with long-time Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. True Detective‘s Cary Joji Fukunaga has since stepped in for Boyle and is currently working from a script by Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, who’ve been writers on every Bond film since The World Is Not Enough.
A new release date was also announced following the director change. Initially scheduled for release on October 25, 2019, MGM will release Bond 25 in partnership with Annapurna Pictures on February 14th, 2020. Universal will be handling distribution internationally.
