Robert Downey Jr. Feels Like He Could Do ‘One More’ Solo ‘Iron Man’ Film

Many have wondered for awhile if there was a chance that we could see another Iron Man solo film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s future. It has seemed like the idea was off the table as series star Robert Downey Jr. hadn’t seemed too interested in doing another solo installment. Well, it seems as if things may have changed recently in regards to this matter.

While speaking during a Nightline special feature on ABC, the actor surprisingly commented that he felt “like I could do one more” in regards to another solo Iron Man film.

While there’s currently not a lot of room in the upcoming Phase Three slate, I’m sure Marvel Studios would be open to moving some things around considering how massive Iron Man 3 was at the box office. With Jon Favreau recently expressing an interest in doing another superhero film, could we see the duo back together for a fourth entry & final in the franchise?

While the previous film might have closed off the trilogy nicely, there’s plenty of directions they could take a fourth film. I’m just saying that I just want a live-action M.O.D.O.K. someday, alright? Sound off with your thoughts on the subject in the comments section below.
