The animated sequel to The Death of Superman will center around the arrival of new heroes after Superman sacrificed himself to defeat Doomsday. Now, the first trailer for Reign of the Supermen offers fans a preview of the chaos that will ensue as villains arrive to attack a vulnerable Earth and the City tries to survive without their greatest hero.

Based on the 1993 comic book storyline of the same name, Reign of the Supermen is set after Clark Kent’s fatal showdown with Doomsday as Lois Lane finds herself looking to see if one of these heroes is actually a reborn version of the man she loves while the people of Earth will have to see which one of these new heroes will be able to fill the void left by the Last Son of Krypton.
Directed by Sam Liu, Reign of the Supermen stars Cameron Monaghan, Jerry O’Connell, Cress Williams, Patrick Fabian, Rebecca Romijn, Nathan Fillion, Rainn Wilson, Toks Olagundoye and Nyambi Nyambi.
Reign of The Supermen is set to be released in 2019.
