New ‘Reign Of The Supermen’ Stills Show Off Lois Lane, Wonder Woman & The Flash

Warner Bros. Animation has always put in significant artistry into their feature-length animated adaptations of DC Comics stories. Their latest one, entitled Reign of the Supermen is set to be released in January, and anticipation for the upcoming film continues to grow as more content is released.

Now, Warner Bros. Animation artist Phil Bourassa has commemorated the upcoming release of Reign of the Supermen by sharing some exciting new stills from the upcoming film. These stills in particular showcase Lois Lane, Wonder Woman and The Flash.

Bourassa is particularly proud of what the creative team at Warner Bros. Animation have done with Reign of the Supermen. Hopefully, the film turns out to be yet another exciting adaptation of this beloved story.

Based on the 1993 comic book storyline of the same name, Reign of the Supermen is set after Clark Kent’s fatal showdown with Doomsday as Lois Lane finds herself looking to see if one of these heroes is actually a reborn version of the man she loves while the people of Earth will have to see which one of these new heroes will be able to fill the void left by the Last Son of Krypton.

Here is the synopsis:

Reign of the Supermen finds Earth’s citizens – and the Man of Steel’s heroic contemporaries – dealing with a world without Superman. But the aftermath of Superman’s death, and the subsequent disappearance of his body, leads to a new mystery – is Superman still alive? The question is further complicated when four new super-powered individuals – Steel, Cyborg Superman, Superboy and the Eradicator – emerge to proclaim themselves as the ultimate hero. In the end, only one will be able to proclaim himself the world’s true Superman.

Directed by Sam Liu, Reign of the Supermen stars Cameron Monaghan, Jerry O’Connell, Cress Williams, Patrick Fabian, Rebecca Romijn, Nathan Fillion, Rainn Wilson, Toks Olagundoye and Nyambi Nyambi.

Reign of the Supermen will be available digitally January 15, 2019, and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and streaming on DC Universe on January 29, 2019.
