According to a report published by Deadline, the films will both be released in the summers of their respective years. Mission: Impossible 7 will be released on July 22nd of 2021. Its sequel will is set to be released on August 5th of the following year.
It was revealed in mid-January that two additional sequels to the franchise would happen in back to back years. Christopher McQuarrie, who had directed the previous two installments was announced to direct both films.
