Release Dates For ‘Mission: Impossible’ 7 & 8 Revealed

Earlier this year, two new Mission: Impossible films were announced to go into production with 2021 and 2022 being the targeted years for their release dates. Now we have the official release date for both of the films.

According to a report published by Deadline, the films will both be released in the summers of their respective years. Mission: Impossible 7  will be released on July 22nd of 2021. Its sequel will is set to be released on August 5th of the following year.

It was revealed in mid-January that two additional sequels to the franchise would happen in back to back years. Christopher McQuarrie, who had directed the previous two installments was announced to direct both films.

The franchise’s latest installment, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, stars Tom Cruise, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Michelle Monaghan, Alec Baldwin, Sean Harris, Vanessa Kirby, Henry Cavill, Sian Brooke, Frederick Schmidt, and Angela Bassett.

Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.

Mission: Impossible – Fallout is now available on digital platforms, Blu-ray and DVD.
