Scottish actor Richard Madden is best known to audiences for his role as Robb Stark in HBO’s Game of Thrones, but he’s had a lot of success outside of the hit series. Richard Madden is currently a fan-favorite to replace Daniel Craig as James Bond thanks to his role as troubled war veteran David Budd in Bodyguard, which won him the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama.
Daniel Craig’s first cinematic solo outing as James Bond hit theaters in 2006. Now, Daniel Craig’s upcoming fifth outing as the iconic character is also set to be his last, so fans are already fan-casting actors as the next James Bond. Digital artist Mizuri recently took to Instagram to share a piece that imagines Richard Madden as James Bond, revealing what the Bodyguard actor could look like as Daniel Craig’s 007 successor. In addition to Game of Thrones and Bodyguard, Richard Madden is also known for his work in Disney’s live-action Cinderella movie and the Elton John biopic Rocketman. The actor’s upcoming projects include the Sam Mendes-directed World War I drama 1917 and the Marvel Studios superhero movie The Eternals.

Here is the official synopsis for Daniel Craig’s James Bond 25:
Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
Filming is currently underway at Pinewood Studios in the United Kingdom. Additional filming locations include London, Jamaica, Italy, and Norway.
The cast of James Bond 25 includes Daniel Craig, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Lea Seydoux, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, as well as franchise newcomers Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Lashana Lynch, Billy Magnussen, David Dencik and Dali Benssalah.
