Rob Liefeld To Hold ‘Deadpool 2’ Release Celebrations & Screenings

A press release announced that Rob Liefeld will be holding screenings of the Deadpool 2 as well as Deadpool Day X-Force X-Travaganza.

Deadpool 2 is releasing next month, and fans are already buying their tickets for opening night. The only thing more exciting than seeing the film upon its release is seeing it with the creator of the character, Rob Liefeld. Fans in Los Angeles area can now do exactly that. Liefeld will be holding screenings for Deadpool 2 as well as Deadpool Day X-Force X-Travaganza, a celebration of the film’s release.

Liefeld released an official statement showing he’s every bit as excited for Deadpool 2 as the fans:

“I can’t wait for everyone to experience all my creations up on the screen together for the first time! The first movie was big, but this is even bigger!! Ryan, Zazie and Josh embody Deadpool, Domino and Cable so perfectly. What better way to see it experience it than seeing it with the man who created them all and then continuing the celebration at an exclusive FREE event!!”

Screenings will be held at Frank and Sons in City of Industry on May 17th and 18th. Deadpool Day X-Force X-Travaganza is on the 19th. The free event will feature “appearances from special guests from the movie and comic book artists across Deadpool, Cable, Domino and X-Force titles.” There will also be signings and collectibles available for purchase. This sounds like an event that Deadpool fans will not want to miss. So, buy your tickets to the screenings at Liefeld’s website when they go on sale tomorrow.

Will you be heading to the event? Let us know down in the comments! Here’s the official synopsis for Deadpool 2:
