‘The Flash’: Robbie Amell Reveals New Details About His Return

Robbie Amell revealed that he would be returning to The CW‘s The Flash as Ronnie Raymond, Caitlin Snow’s late husband and formerly one half of Firestorm.

A recent picture posted to Amell’s Twitter revealed him to be on set last week with Danielle Panabaker. In a recent interview, Amell revealed new details about his character’s return to The Flash.

“I was there last week. I may or may not be alive.”

It hasn’t been confirmed for how long Amell will be back on The Flash, but it probably isn’t for more than one episode. There is speculation that his reappearance will be due to Savitar using him as a ghost-like presence, much like he did with Dante, Cisco Ramon’s brother, in the show’s midseason finale episode.

Amell went on to reveal that he has filmed scenes with Panabaker and The Flash star Grant Gustin.

“I rarely get to have scenes with Grant. The only time he and I had a scene that was just the two of us, I was Stein at the time, I was pretending to be Victor Garber. So it was cool to have a real scene with Grant.”

The last time we saw Amell as Ronnie Raymond, it was the Earth-2 doppelganger version of him and he was the criminal Deathstorm.
