‘Avengers: Endgame’ Toy Reveals Return Of Another Iron Man Character

A LEGO toy pack from Avengers: Endgame revealed a familiar ally for Robert Downey Jr’s Iron Man that we weren’t expecting to see in the film.

A recent post on Instagram shows us a pack including Iron Man’s mini figure with his Quantum Realm suit, confirming once again these will be heavily featured in Avengers: Endgame in order to undo Thanos’ decimation and ultimately defeat him. Although what struck us most about this pack was that the famous Tony Stark one-hand-robot Dum-E is also included, so it’s safe to assume he will be featured at some point in the film with Robert Downey Jr:

Dum-E and U are the robots that Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark usually uses in the Iron Man flicks. After their first appearances in 2008’s Iron Man, the robots started working as comic relief for Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark as he worked on the Iron Man suit. It’s safe to say that these robots are fondly remembered by Marvel fans who will very likely be happy to hear that we’ll see Dum-E in Avengers: Endgame, although there are no clues to U appearing in the movie at the moment.

Avengers: Endgame will serve as both a follow up to Avengers: Infinity War as well as the conclusion to the 22 films that came before it before Marvel kicks off Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Spider-Man: Far From Home in July.

Directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, the film is expected to star Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, Elizabeth Olsen, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Danai Gurira, Letitia Wright, Dave Bautista, Zoe Saldana, Paul Rudd, Jeremy Renner, Brie Larson, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt.

A culmination of 22 interconnected films the fourth installment of the Avengers saga will draw audiences to witness the turning point of this epic journey. Our beloved heroes will truly understand how fragile this reality is and the sacrifices that must be made to uphold it.

Avengers: Endgame is scheduled to be released in theaters on April 26, 2019. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for the latest news on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as we learn it.
