News broke on Tuesday that Christopher Nolan has tapped BlacKkKlansman actor John David Washington to lead his next movie. Now, Collider reports that Robert Pattinson is “poised to star” opposite Washington in the highly-anticipated project, which is shrouded in secrecy.
Christopher Nolan’s next movie was recently dated by Warner Bros. after the filmmaker completed its script. The project is said to be a “massive, innovative, action blockbuster” that will receive an IMAX release. Nolan is producing it alongside his partner Emma Thomas.
For comic book fans, Christopher Nolan is best known for directing the Dark Knight trilogy. His last project was the WWII action-drama Dunkirk, which won three Academy Awards for Best Sound Editing, Best Sound Mixing, and Best Film Editing.
Robert Pattinson rose to fame after playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight movies. Recent reports claimed that Warner Bros. is looking at Robert Pattinson to replace Ben Affleck as Batman after his exit from the DC Extended Universe, but those rumors have not been confirmed.
