New fan art gives fans an idea of what Robert Pattinson’s Batman costume will look like in color.

Yesterday, The Batman director Matt Reeves revealed the first official look at Robert Pattinson in costume as the Caped Crusader. While Robert Pattinson’s Batman costume has been generally well-received, the camera test footage shared by Matt Reeves appeared to be a shot in a dark room with only a red glow providing light.

As a result, details and the color scheme of Robert Pattinson’s Batman costume were hard to make out, though fans have taken it upon themselves to imagine a more clear vision of the costume. Now, digital artist “datrinti” has created an image that gives fan a better idea of what Robert Pattinson’s Batman costume will look like in color and imagines the ears on the cowl as well.

Full plot details on The Batman are currently under wraps, though the Robert Pattinson film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy from Warner Bros. with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman will be released in theaters on June 25, 2021.
