On a new episode of his show, “The Fanboy,” Revenge of the Fans Editor-in-Chief Mario Robles discussed some of the names in contention to take on the mantle of a young Bruce Wayne in the movie. While listing those names, though, he then revealed that some of them could officially be taken out of the running. Here’s who is in the running so far: Ansel Elgort, Dylan O’Brien, Logan Lerman, Noah Centineo, Jack O’Connell, Kit Harrington, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Richard Madden, Robert Pattinson, and Armie Hammer.
But who is out of the running, though? That would include Ansel Elgort, Dylan O’Brien, Logan Lerman, and Noah Centineo. You can watch Mario Robles discuss the casting for Matt Reeves’ DC film in the video below starting at the 50:00 mark.
Now you, me, or any site out there can do all the speculating and fan-casting that you’d like, but at the end of the day, the decision for who will take on the role of a young Bruce Wayne in the movie will come down to Warner Bros and director Matt Reeves. You can’t exactly go back in time and pick up Ben Affleck during his Dazed and Confused days, after all. So until there’s official word, this is apparently who we know is out of the running.
So what are your thoughts on those names now being out of contention? Who would you want to see don the cowl in the movie?Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
