Robert Pattinson Wears Earth One Inspired Batsuit In Awesome Fan Art

A cool new piece of fan art depicts Twilight alum Robert Pattinson with an Earth One-inspired Batsuit for The Batman.

British actor Robert Pattinson will become the latest actor to don the cape and cowl as Bruce Wayne in a new Batman movie from Matt Reeves, the director behind Cloverfield an War for the Planet of the Apes. Of course, The Batman is still in the early stages of production, meaning it will likely be a while before we get an official look at Robert Pattinson’s Batman suit.

However, fans have taken it upon themselves to imagine what Robert Pattinson’s Batman suit could look like and the latest piece comes courtesy of digital artist John Regan. The image depicts Robert Pattinson with a Batman suit inspired by the Earth One outfit from the comics complete with the iconic yellow Bat symbol.

Full plot details for The Batman are being kept under lock and key, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin and The Riddler. The Matt Reeves project will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of his detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC Comics films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, The Batman stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, and Paul Dano as the Riddler. Westworld star Jeffrey Wright was recently reported to be in talks for the role of Commissioner James Gordon.
