Robert Pattinson Gears Up To Replace Ben Affleck As Batman In New Image

Some are clearly on board for Robert Pattinson as Batman as a new image has the former Twilight actor replacing Ben Affleck as Batman.

The image in question of Robert Pattinson replacing Ben Affleck is about what you would expect. It shows Robert Pattinson in a Batman costume that looks remarkably similar to the one that Ben Affleck wore in his films. The Batman suit features the black cape and cowl that Ben Affleck wore as well as darker grey shirt piece with the black bat in the center. The main difference is that this version of Batman is considerably slimmer then Ben Affleck’s version of the caped crusader has pointy ears, and has Robert Pattinson’s face instead of Ben Affleck.

Plot details for The Batman are currently under wraps, though the film will center around a younger Bruce Wayne and features a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that reportedly includes Catwoman. The Matt Reeves film will follow Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector and will make use of the Dark Knight’s detective skills to a greater extent than previous DC Films. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.

Matt Reeves’ The Batman is one of the many projects currently being developed by Warner Bros. and DC. These projects include The Flash standalone film, Green Lantern Corps, Black Adam, The Suicide Squad, Supergirl, Plastic Man and New Gods.
