Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’ Adds Gil Perez-Abraham To The Cast

Robert Pattinson’s upcoming DC Universe film, The Batman has added actor Gil Perez-Abraham to its cast.

Since the premise of the film was announced, Robert Pattinson’s upcoming Batman film has added quite a few stars to its roster in roles that you wouldn’t otherwise expect. Zoe Kravitz was cast as Catwoman, Paul Dano of There Will Be Blood fame joined as The Riddler, John Turturro will be mob boss Carmine Falcone, Jeffrey Wright was added as Commissioner Gordon and, perhaps the most unconventional was the casting of Colin Farrell as the Penguin. This, however, has not stopped the Robert Pattinson film from adding relatively unknown members to its cast.

According to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter, Robert Pattinson’s The Batman has added actor Gil Perez-Abraham to its cast. Gil Perez-Abraham is a relatively unknown actor who has had roles in shows like Orange Is the New Black and Law and Order: SVU. The actor will also reportedly be in the upcoming Walking Dead spinoff, The Walking Dead: World Beyond. It is currently unknown what role that Gil Perez-Abraham will play in the Robert Pattinson film.

While full plot details on The Batman are currently under wraps it is known that the film will center around a young Bruce Wayne and feature a Rogues’ Gallery of villains that includes Catwoman, The Penguin, and The Riddler and is rumored to be based on Batman: The Long Halloween. The upcoming Matt Reeves film is said to focus on Batman’s early years and will make use of the character’s detective skills more so than any previous film. It is expected to be the first chapter in a new trilogy with Robert Pattinson as Batman.

The Batman opens in theaters on June 25, 2021.
