‘The Batman’ Promo Art Offers New Look At Robert Pattinson In Full Costume

New promotional artwork for The Batman shows Robert Pattinson suited up as the Dark Knight.

The Batman is currently on hold after Bruce Wayne actor Robert Pattinson tested positive for the coronavirus. With filming expected to resume in a few days, new promotional art for the highly-anticipated DC Comics movie has surfaced online, giving fans fresh look at Pattinson as the titular hero.

The promotional artwork shows The Batman star Robert Pattinson suited up and ready for action, with the film’s logo right next to him. It also includes the official Bat-Symbol for Pattinson’s take on the Dark Knight after it was first revealed thanks to a DC Comics patent. Check it out below.

Recent set photos showed the crew of The Batman testing the Batmobile ahead of filming. The production is currently based at at the Warner Bros. studio at Leavesden in Hertfordshire.

Plot details for The Batman are being kept under wraps, but we know that the project will revolve around Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his formative years as Gotham City’s protector. The Batman will also feature the hero making use of his detective skills more than what we’ve seen before in previous iterations of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment to a new Batman trilogy with Pattinson.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, the film stars Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.
