News about The Batman just keeps coming. In a new report from Forbes, the site states that Robert Pattinson’s Caped Crusader will face The Penguin, Catwoman and The Riddler as well as numerous other villains and mob bosses in the movie. According to the site, Robert Pattinson will “potentially” have help coming with him in the form of Batman sidekick Robin. The site claims that we should hear some official casting announcements soon, so these rumors should be good enough to hold us over.
The Riddler and Robin both appeared in Joel Schumacher’s Batman films and Robin now leads a live-action series centered on the Teen Titans with Brenton Thwaites as the Boy Wonder. The Riddler was last on the big screen in Batman Forever, wih Jim Carrey portraying the villainous character who was recently utilized in live-action on Gotham.

The DCEU continues with a standalone Joker film set outside of the DC Films universe starring Joaquin Phoenix as the Clown Prince of Crime on October 4, 2019, Birds of Prey (And The Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) on February 7, 2020, and Wonder Woman 1984 on June 5, 2020.
