‘Rogue One’ Footage To Air During ABC Disney Holiday Special

Are you aching for some new footage from Rogue One: A Star Wars Story? Well, you’re in luck. On Thursday November 24, The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration will air on ABC at 8/7c. During this special, an exclusive look at the upcoming galactic adventure will be featured.

This upcoming holiday special will be hosted by Dancing With the Stars’ Derek Hough and Julianne Hough. There will also be appearances by Kelly Clarkson, Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood.

I am curious to see what kind of sneak peek this will be. Personally, I would like to see a special clip of the film, showcasing our new heroes of the Rebellion and the dynamic that they share in this mission we’ve all known from the original opening crawl from Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. Regardless of what is shown, the fact that we are a little over a month away from yet another Star Wars movie is insane. To quote C-3PO, “Thank the maker!”

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016.
