‘The Mandalorian’ Star Rosario Dawson Looks Amazing With Live-Action Ahsoka Tano Look

Rosario Dawson suits up as Star Wars legend Ahsoka Tano in an incredible new concept for The Mandalorian season two.

The season two premiere of The Mandalorian introduced fans to Timothy Olyphant’s Cobb Vanth, a character who hails from the recent expansion of canon Star Wars novels. Vanth don’s Boba Fett’s iconic armor throughout the episode, but ultimately gives it to the protagonist. At the end of the episode, we caught a glimpse of Temuera Morrison as an armor-less Boba Fett, but these two aren’t the only classic Star Wars characters expected to appear in the second season of the Disney Plus series. It’s been widely reported that Marvel actress Rosario Dawson will be taking on the role of Ahsoka Tano int live-action and will appear at some point during this season.

Disney has seemingly confirmed that Rosario Dawson’s Ahsoka Tano will be in the second season of The Mandalorian, but as of right now, only time will tell for what kind of a role she plays in Din Djarin and Baby Yoda’s story. As we wait for Ahsoka Tano’s live-action debut on the small screen, God of War art director Raf Grassetti has shared his stunning concepts of both Rosario Dawson as the beloved character from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Darth Maul wielding the Darksaber, a weapon we will see more of in The Mandalorian season two. The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Giancarlo Esposito and Carl Weathers, with Rosario Dawson joining the series as Ahsoka Tano. The Star Wars project is being directed by series creator Jon Favreau, executive producer Dave Filoni and fellow season one directors Rick Famuyiwa and Bryce Dallas Howard. Ant-Man director Peyton Reed will also helm at least one episode as will star Carl Weathers and Sin City helmer Robert Rodriguez.
