Ruby Rose’s Batwoman first appeared in the Arrowverse Elseworlds crossover event, where she was introduced along with The CW version of Gotham City. While FOX’s Gotham ended a few weeks ago, a new series centered on a Batman character will soon take its place. The CW has ordered the Batwoman pilot, which filmed in the spring, to a full series. There is no news on when the new show will premiere, but it could be after Arrow finishes its shortened ten-episode final season in 2020. The CW’s fall schedule will be announced next week on May 16 at this year’s Upfront Presentation.
