Ruby Rose Shows Off Her Fighting Skills In New Batwoman Training Video

The CW’s Batwoman star Ruby Rose shows off her impressive fighting skills in a new training video.

The pilot for The CW’s Batwoman finally began shooting this week and will bring the fan-favorite Elseworlds character back to the Arrowverse.

Ruby Rose prepares for the exciting role in her latest Instagram post where she shows off her fighting skills in a quick training video. You can see her prepare for her biggest task yet by clicking on the post below!

Batwoman arrives to the Arrowverse just as it seems a number of its biggest heroes are leaving. Many rumors have recently swirled around regarding some of the Arrowverse’s most iconic characters exiting after the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover event, although none have been officially confirmed to exit so far. The exciting new event was teased at the end of the Elseworlds crossover event, which aired in December.

In The CW’s shared television universe the iconic caped crusader Batman has been missing for three years and his cousin Kate Kane (Ruby Rose) has taken matters into her own hands to serve justice to the evils of Gotham City.

The CW’s Arrow, Supergirl, and The Flash return with new episodes this week. The CW’s other Arrowverse series Legends of Tomorrow will return with new episodes starting in April. What do you think of Ruby Rose’s training video? Are you excited for The CW’s Batwoman series? Sound off in the comment section below!

Here is the reported plot synopsis for Batwoman:

Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane (Rose) soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city’s criminal resurgence. But don’t call her a hero yet. In a city desperate for a savior, Kate must overcome her own demons before embracing the call to be Gotham’s symbol of hope.

Ruby Rose’s version of Batwoman was first introduced in last year’s CW crossover television event Elseworlds alongside the likes of established stars as The FlashArrow, and Supergirl. Audiences were largely taken with the character and now she will indeed get her own standalone television series. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on all news regarding The CW’s Batwoman pilot as soon as more information becomes available.
