RUMOR: Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk To Return In ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

Last month, Mark Ruffalo who portrays Bruce Banner/The Hulk in The Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed that his character was set to return in next year’s Captain America: Civil War, but was later cut from the film’s script because Marvel Studios wanted to keep the character’s current whereabouts a secret.

As most of you remember from Joss Whedon’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, Hulk flew away to a undisclosed location using a Quinjet, which supposedly crashed somewhere near The Banda Sea, leading the Avengers to believe that the character went off the grid near that location. Ever since that happened, many fans have been wondering when we’ll finally see the fan favorite character again, but now comes a new report which may finally shed some light on that, and let’s just say that it sounds like the character is nowhere near the Fiji islands.

According to JoBlo, Ruffalo will once again return as the Green Goliath to team up with Chris Hemsworth’s God of Thunder in Thor: Ragnarok, which is rumored to be directed by What We Do in the Shadows-helmer Taika Waititi for a November 2017 release. Additionally, the report states that Hulk will have a prominent role in the threequel, which is said to feature a “distant planet”, which isn’t Earth or Asgard.

That’s not all though, as the site adds that Tom Hiddleston will also be returning as the God of Mischief, joined by Jaimie Alexander’s Sif.
