RUMOR: Tom Hardy’s ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII’ Role Revealed

Ok, you’re here, that means you want to know. Here is MakingStarWars’ detailed description of Hardy’s possible cameo as . . .

A Stormtrooper! That’s right, Hardy is following in the footsteps of James Bond himself Daniel Craig as a helmeted Stormtrooper and his scene, should it play out, sounds fun!

  • Tom Hardy plays a First Order stormtrooper.

  • Said stormtrooper glimpses FN-2187 on a secret mission but doesn’t realize it.

  • The “incognito” FN-2187 is surprised when the stormtrooper walks up behind him and slaps him on the ass.

  • FN-2187 turns around and believes he’s dead. He’s surely going to be captured.

  • The stormtrooper is elated to see his old friend from back during their First Order academy days.

  • The stormtrooper congratulates FN-2187 on his promotion to Resistance infiltrator and spy.

  • FN-2187 is free to go about his business to his amazement.

It appears Finn is still in relative good standing with his fellow stormtroopers, because at least this one seems unaware not only that he’s not playing a role, but that he threw Capt. Phasma down a trash compactor. You would think a story like that would spread.

All – including this possible Hardy cameo – will be revealed when Episode VIII hits theaters December 15, 2017.
