Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne Johnson are joining forces for a new Netflix film titled Red Notice, which is in the midst of filming before the coronavirus pandemic forced production to shut down. As of now, it remains unclear with production on the film will be able to resume.
During an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Ryan Reynolds commented on the shutdown and revealed they had just past the halfway point of production on Red Notice. The actor then joked about how they might have been able to finish the film before the pandemic had he and Dwayne Johnson not spent so much time trying to make each other laugh:
“We were just over the halfway point mark. We probably would have made it… I’m guessing we might have finished the movie if didn’t spend 90% of our time dicking around laughing. I’ve known Dwayne for, like, fifteen years, so we tend to spend time trying to make each other laugh. Which is a really irresonsible thing to do with Netflix’s money.”
