Ryan Reynolds & Stephen Colbert Skewer ‘Green Lantern’ Together

'Life' star Ryan Reynolds hilariously skewered 'Green Lantern' during an appearance on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' on CBS.

While promoting his upcoming film Life, Ryan Reynolds made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Reynolds appeared on the segment, “Big Questions with Bigger Stars,” in which he and Colbert are seen lying down on a picnic blanket together observing the starry sky.

Reynolds and Colbert would then discuss some of life’s biggest questions such as, “What would you do on your final day?” Their heart-to-heart conversation would then lead to a discussion on what super powers they would like to have, which leads to this hilarious exchange between the two regarding a certain DC hero from Reynolds’ past:

This is far from the first time where Reynolds has poked fun at his Green Lantern movie. Of course, during the opening credits of Deadpool, we see a trading card featuring a caricature inspired by Green Lantern.

Reynolds’ career leading up to his over-the-moon success with the Merc with a Mouth has had its ups and downs – Green Lantern being one of the major downs. It’s great to see that an actor of his talent has incredible success in the Heroic Age of Hollywood. Plus, it’s always fun to see him skewer Green Lantern at any chance he has.

You can see the complete Late Show segment down below.

Here is the synopsis for Life:

Life debuts in theaters this Friday.
