Ryan Reynolds Has Fun With Josh Brolin’s Universe-Smashing Cable Casting

Ryan Reynolds tweeted a 'Deadpool' centric photo to joke about Josh Brolin (Cable) now playing two different Marvel Comics characters.

Many have already commented about Josh Brolin’s casting as Cable in Deadpool 2, but there has not been any word from Ryan Reynolds himself until now. Reynolds finally tweeted a humorous response to some of the commentary about Josh Brolin now playing two characters from the Marvel Universe. Look at the tweet and picture below:

Obviously Reynolds is joking about how some fans have an issue with Brolin playing Thanos and Cable simultaneously, although the two characters are not in the same cinematic universe. In the image itself, Reynolds teases Cable and Domino (Zazie Beetz) in the left corner who are now both cast and will be the side characters in the Deadpool sequel. He also leaves a nice Golden Girls reference in classic Deadpool fashion.

Do you have a problem with the Josh Brolin casting? As long as it’s not another Jonah Hex fiasco, I think he’s a fantastic choice. Like it or not, looks like he’ll be around for at least 4 films!

Deadpool 2 has no release date, but with the Cable finally cast, we may get one in the near future. Stay with Heroic Hollywood for any future updates.
