Ryan Reynolds Officially Working On ‘Deadpool 3’ With Marvel Studios

Ryan Reynolds confirmed he’s working on Deadpool 3 alongside Marvel Studios after Disney’s acquisition of Fox.

While fans were previously worried about the future of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 after Disney acquired Fox and its properties, the star confirmed he’s working on the sequel alongside Marvel Studios. Kevin Feige announced all of Marvel Studios’ Phase 4 movies until 2021 without any of the Fox properties, so it looks like fans may have some time to wait before Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 arrives in theaters. But the Deadpool star recently confirmed that he and Marvel Studios are making progress on the sequel.

Ryan Reynolds revealed on Live With Kelly And Ryan that he’s working on Deadpool 3 alongside Marvel Studios, explaining that it’s “kinda crazy”, but he seems enthusiastic about the sequel. He didn’t reveal where the sequel takes place in the grand tapestry of Marvel Studios’ future, but the Deadpool star mentioned that the “whole team” is working on the film. “Yeah we’re working on it right now with the whole team. We’re over at Marvel [Studios] now, which is like the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kinda crazy. So yeah, we’re working on it.”
