Samuel L. Jackson Addresses His ‘Avengers: Endgame’ Status

Nick Fury actor Samuel L. Jackson appears to have spoiled the status of his character for Avengers: Endgame.

Samuel L. Jackson recently made an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show alongside his co-star Brie Larson to promote Captain Marvel. During his appearance on the show, Avengers: Endgame came up as one of the topics. Due to Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury making an appearance during the post-credits scene of Infinity War, the topic of his character making an appearance in the following Avengers film came up. This is what he had to say when asked if Nick Fury would appear in Avengers: Endgame:

“No, why would I be? I don’t have any superpowers, I can’t fight battles. No, I’m not in it.”

After making an appearance throughout many films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Nick Fury has become one of Samuel L. Jackson’s most memorable characters . Nick Fury introduced Iron Man to a bigger world. Afterwards, he helped bring our beloved heroes together for the first time to defeat the threat of Loki and the Chitauri. There will be some fans sad to know that Samuel L. Jackson will not be returning to help defeat Thanos, but you can expect to see him soon in Captain Marvel and Spider-Man: Far From Home.
