While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, the actor was asked a series of questions and some may have had more information than needed. The actor was asked about a particular object and how it relates to the film. Here’s what he had to say:
“He who? He me? I’ve heard the cat referred to as a Flerken. I didn’t know what that meant, so I vaguely have an idea now what that means, And we’re actually entering a ship that belonged to a doctor from Carol Danvers’ past. She’s trying to find some answers to what happened, why he was on Earth and what that whole power core thing– Seems like the Tesseract has been the constant in all these movies.
Samuel L. Jackson seems to have confirmed that the Tesseract will be making an appearance in Captain Marvel and the object may be more important in the connection of all films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Samuel L. Jackson will be returning as Nick Fury in the upcoming film along with Clark Gregg’s Agent Phil Coulson. Both characters will be welcoming the new hero as she lands on Earth in 1995 to discover who she is.
Could it be possible that the Tesseract might have an important role in Brie Larsen’s solo film and Avengers: Endgame? Perhaps the time travel theories may be true and we could be seeing our beloved heroes go back in time to obtain the Tesseract. Indeed it has been present in various films throughout the MCU and could have capabilities that may help out our heroes. We’ll just have to look forward to Captain Marvel and see what could happen with this new possible interaction with the Tesseract.
What do you think of this new detail? Do you think the tesseract may have a bigger role in the future? Share your thoughts below!
