Sanaa Lathan To Voice Catwoman For ‘Harley Quinn’ Animated Series

The Harley Quinn animated series has found its Catwoman in Sanaa Lathan, as the actress has signed on to voice the iconic Batman character.

While talking at a panel for The American Black Film Festival, Sanna Lathan talked about her career in film and television. During the panel, Sanaa Lathan also revealed that she will provide the voice for Catwoman in the upcoming Harley Quinn series. Sanaa Lathan did not give away any further details on Catwoman’s role in the upcoming Harley Quinn series.

Sanaa Lathan’s role as Catwoman will not mark the first time she has portrayed a comic book character. In 1998, the actress was in the Wesley Snipes film Blade, playing the titular character’s mother.  But now it seems that Sanaa Lathan is willing to dive back into the world of comic book adaptations as Catwoman.

The Harley Quinn animated series features the voice talents of Kaley Cuoco, Lake Bell, Alan Tudyk, Ron Funches, JB Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Giancarlo Esposito, Natalie Morales, Jim Rash, Diedrich Bader, Tony Hale, Sanna Lathan and Chris Meloni.

The Harley Quinn animated series is expected to be premiere in October of 2019.
