Scarlett Johansson’s ‘Black Widow’ Has Moment Right From Marvel Comics

Marvel Studios’ Black Widow features an action-packed moment with Scarlett Johansson lifted straight from the comics.

This summer, Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow will get her long-overdue standalone film a full decade after she first appeared in Iron Man 2. As part of the promotional campaign for Black Widow, Marvel Studios released a Super Bowl spot for the Scarlett Johansson film filled with action-packed footage.

At one point during the Black Widow spot, Scarlett Johansson’s Natasha Romanoff leaps out the window of a building as an explosion erupts behind her. Now, colorist Matt Wilson has pointed out that the scene is a direct recreation of a moment from the Black Widow comic he worked on featuring art by Chris Samnee.

Check out the post below to compare the Marvel Comics version of the scene to the one featured in Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow.
